New smart BRABUS for four Moves Quickly into Australia

With a considerable backorder of other hot hatches in Australia, smart is aiming to snare just a small amount of the action with the limited release of the high-performance forfour variant. The initial shipment of the smart Über hatch is in the country and due to hit showroom floors this week.

BRABUS, one of the world’s largest and most respected car tuning specialists, has tweaked every aspect of the smart four door to make it a unique blend of performance and practicality. BRABUS has over 25 years of experience and it shows in their ability to get more than just the motor right.

Exclusive features and elegant accessories come standard, with leather, panoramic glass roof, four airbags, sports suspension, 5-speed manual transmission, BRABUS alloy wheels, side skirts, front and rear apron, spoiler and muffler. All at the RRP price of $39,900.

There are many hand-made touches that differentiate the BRABUS version, such as insignias in the headrests, odometer, metallic door linings and high-quality floor mats.

Of course, with figures of 0 – 100 in just 6.9 seconds and a top speed of 221 km/h, this hot hatch gets the job done quick smart. And performance at the pump doesn’t come at a cost either, with consumption coming in at 6.8 litres per 100km.

It’s also a little bit of history, as it’s the only Mercedes Car Group backed BRABUS to be brought to Australia.
